A free and informative workshop on how communities are invigorated by strong tree-planting and protection efforts will be held Thursday, October 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 at the Des Moines Botanical Center, 909 Robert D. Ray Drive. Refreshments will be served beginning at 5 p.m.
